![]() Warhammer 40k would require them to do a serious engine-upgrade, as I am not sure about the handling of giant tanks and flyers, especially high velocity flyers. If I would be betting on it, I would say that the End Times/Age of Sigmar is the most likely, because they already have so many models as a basis for it. Tomes read: The Great Betrayal, Master of Dragons, Curse of the Phoenix Crown, Trollslayer, Skavenslayer, Daemonslayer, Dragonslayer, Beastslayer, Vampireslayer, Malekith, The Bloody Handed, Shadow King. However, there are only few IPs that could get such a monetary success and hype for units as Warhammer or Lord of the Rings.(and no, Star Wars is also completely outside the realm of possible as that IP lies with EA too). An official version of the esteemed Planet War mod for Medieval 2. There are other IPs and there are tons of IP-Owners, that would be REALLY interested in a Total War game about that IP. Sadly Lord of the Rings is EA exclusive and I am not TOO sure about Game of Thrones, as the IP severely lost any public relevancy since the horrible last 2-2.5 seasons. Otherwise, they will look for another IP to go for. There is also the chance, that they might go Warhammer 40k.people say the game doesn't fit, but looking at Dawn if War, that is untrue. Either they will continue with Warhammer Fantasy and go down the End Times route and potentially also Age of Sigmar I would assume, that CA will continue with IP based fantasy/sci-fi for that team ![]() ![]() Games Workshop is incredibly happy about the work it has done for the IP too An IP-based Total War was the most successful Total War (including DLC)
